STIHL SHOP Masterton and STIHL SHOP Greytown joined forces to bring the women in the Wairarapa a fun filled night based around chainsaw safety.
When we initially planned this night we thought we would get approximately 70 people. We advertised 10 days in advance of the event and after the first week the amount of interest we had was staggering so we knew that there would be a lot more than 70. We had 200 tickets printed, and we sold out a few days before the event!
We greeted the ladies with a complimentary glass of wine and a gift pack, then the night kicked off by having all the women seated while our registered trainer did his 30 minute demonstration. The demonstration consisted of a break down of the chainsaw safety features and then on to a live safety chap demo. The ladies then had the option to move through our varied stations, view and shop in our pop up STIHL SHOP or just mingle and chat to staff on hand.
The stations consisted of a cordless blower game, fiskars demo, CPR demonstrations, and Chainsaw chain fitting games.
The evening wrapped up by giving away a few prizes including a pink STIHL chainsaw followed by a few questions and answered at the end. There was an overwhelming response for more hands on evenings which we are in the process of planning.
We raised $700 on the night for the Wellington Free Ambulance.
